These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the ROOMAVEN website and services, including consultations, ordering, online payments, and installation services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
ROOMAVEN provides cabinetry and closetry solutions, project coordination, and professional installation services, which may be scheduled by appointment.
Any quote, estimate, or proposal is not a binding contract unless explicitly stated in writing.
An order is considered accepted when we confirm in writing (email, invoice confirmation, or order confirmation), and/or when payment is received, depending on the transaction type.
We accept online payments through third-party payment processors.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing information.
Transactions may be subject to verification and fraud prevention checks.
If a payment is reversed, disputed (chargeback), or fails, we may pause work, pause scheduling, or cancel the order until resolved.
Payment processing is handled by third parties; your use of those services may be subject to their terms and privacy policies.
Prices may exclude applicable taxes, delivery fees, site preparation, electrical/plumbing/structural work, permits, or other third-party costs unless explicitly included in writing.
If conditions change (scope changes, add-ons, site constraints), updated pricing may apply via a written change order.
A. Scheduling
Installation dates are scheduled based on product readiness, site readiness, and installer availability.
Arrival windows may be provided rather than exact times.
B. Site readiness and access
You agree to ensure the site is safe and ready for installation, including:
Clear access to the installation area
Reasonable parking and loading access
Utilities as needed (power, lighting)
Floors and surfaces protected if required (or as advised)
If installers cannot proceed due to site conditions (blocked access, unsafe environment, incomplete prep work), a reschedule fee may apply to cover labor and travel, where permitted by law and disclosed before charging.
C. Change requests
If you request changes after plans/specifications are approved, you may be responsible for:
Additional product costs
Additional labor
Extended timelines
All changes should be documented in a written change order.
D. Third-party work
ROOMAVEN is not responsible for delays or defects caused by third-party work outside our scope (e.g., plumbing, electrical, structural changes, building code violations not caused by us).
Because cabinetry and closetry projects often involve custom or made-to-order components:
Custom / made-to-order items: generally non-refundable once production begins, unless required by law or otherwise stated in writing.
Cancellation requests: must be submitted in writing. If cancellation is possible, you may be charged for work already performed (design time, ordering fees, restocking, shipping, and production costs).
Refund timing: If a refund is approved, it is issued to the original payment method and timing depends on the payment processor and bank.

Any product and workmanship warranty terms (if offered) will be provided in writing and may vary by product line and installation scope.
Warranty may not cover normal wear, misuse, water intrusion, improper cleaning, modifications by others, or building movement/settling.
All website content, designs, images, branding, and materials are owned by ROOMAVEN or licensors and may not be used without permission.
If you submit photos, measurements, drawings, or other materials, you represent you have rights to share them. You grant ROOMAVEN a limited license to use them for consultation, design, quoting, ordering, installation planning, and support.
You agree not to:
Misuse the website or attempt unauthorized access
Interfere with system security
Upload malicious code
Copy or scrape the site content without permission
Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ROOMAVEN is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. If liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid to ROOMAVEN for the specific Services giving rise to the claim in the 12 months prior to the event, unless a higher amount is required by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ROOMAVEN from claims arising out of your misuse of the Services, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate access to Services if necessary for security, legal compliance, or Terms violations.
These Terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Charlotte, North Carolina, and you consent to jurisdiction and venue there.
